Day by day, the effects of climate change are becoming more apparent. Events such as pandemics and disasters reveal that more precautions need to be taken and more work needs to be done on this issue. In this context, the European Union has made the 6th Call of the “Horizon Europe Program”. The Horizon Europe Program has been opened for applications under the titles “Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment”. Within the scope of Cluster 6, studies aimed at achieving and balancing environmental, social, and economic goals in a sustainable manner will be supported. The goals aimed within the scope of the call are listed as “reducing environmental degradation; stopping and reversing the decline of biodiversity on land, inland, and marine waters; better managing natural resources through transformative changes in economies and societies in urban and rural areas”.
